Pruning & Permaculture Workshop
Our growing season is coming to a close, and now is the perfect time to start planning for next year. Join us for this triple header workshop to learn about an exciting local food security project, tree care and pruning, and permaculture. All proceeds from this event will go to the Cultivate Cochrane Society (and tickets are sold through that website as well).

Sunday, October 4th at 1 pm
Location: Outdoors on a property just north of Cochrane (about a 5-minute drive) address to be provided to attendees
Cost: $25/person or $20 for Cultivate Cochrane Members. All proceeds to the Cultivate Cochrane Society

This workshop includes:
An introduction to an exciting local group, Cultivate Cochrane, a non-profit society dedicated to growing a resilient and connected community through food, innovation and lifestyle empowerment centered around a community greenhouse hub.
A tree pruning demonstration and discussion about tree care with professional Arborist Kurt Stenberg of Cochrane Tree Care
An introduction to Permaculture, and a yard tour to see the principles in practice with Permaculture Designer Callandra Caufield (me!) of Backyard Harvest Project.
